Practice Merger

At a time when most of the staff in the UK are away on holiday and little seems to get done, news of yet another merger has been announced.




Aukett Fitzroy Robinson and SMC are holding talks about joining forces following the recent poor form of the smaller company.

SMC have been reporting losses for a while according to reports in Building. The financial troubles have not alleviated despite the reshuffle following the departure of the chief executive, Stuart McColl.

If the companies did agree terms, it would create a company of 890 staff, spanning nine countries.
