ROK Acquires S.Harrison Construction



Construction group ROK has acquired Yorkshire builder S. Harrison Construction from parent S. Harrison Group for £4.8m.

Harrison employs 80 staff and will form part of Rok’s Northern operations. Rok will pay £2.4m in cash and £0.8m in shares for S. Harrison, which was founded in 1952, and a further £1.6m will be paid on completion of the deal.

Commenting on the acquisition, Garvis Snook, chief executive of Rok, said: “This acquisition will further enhance Rok's operations in Yorkshire and facilitate the opening of a contracting business in the Sheffield area.”
