Olympic Find

Start work on any site in the UK and one of the first things that is undertaken is a site survey and geo-technical report to establish the likelihood of any archaeological remains. A developers greatest fear as the men and women with small trowels step in and start layering your site. Sit back and wait clock up the delays.

The Olympic Site has, as expected, stumbled across a number of historic artifacts. The Roman findings include a number of coins and other some pottery. The finds are in keeping with the thoughts that the Lea Valley Area was an Iron Age Development.

Assurances have been given by the ODA that no delays will be incurred to the project as a result of the finds. Lucky that, given that there is still four years to complete the build.
