Dodgy Hip

Research from one of the leading on-line residential property search engines suggests that the recent slump in housing prices is partly due to the introduction of the HIPS.

December is always known as a slow month, with records showing that house price drops have occur ed over the last three years nationwide. However this month there has been a greater drop and statistics show that the HIPS has played its part. But for how much longer?

At a time when the market is normally quiet, Rightmove.co.uk believe that slump has been partially caused by an oversupply of two bedroom properties an increase from 38% to 48%

Whilst it is easy to carried away with some of the pessimistic reporting seen in the press, anything can happen in a month -you only need to look at the new England manager suggesting he can learn English in a month.. some of the players still struggle..
