Bid Rigging Prosecution

The OFT has landed a successful prosecution following bid rigging by a UK Contractor.

Bryan Allison, David Brammar and Peter Whittle, who all formerly worked for Dunlop Oil and Marine, were handed prison terms of between two-and-a-half and three years at Southwark crown court.

The men ran a decades-long cartel that defrauded the UK and US governments of millions of pounds on orders for specialist marine hosing, inflating prices by up to 18%.
