Bovis Appoints New Non-Exec

Bovis Homes has appointed Alastair Lyons as independent non-executive deputy chairman.

He was previously chief executive of the National & Provincial building society and the National Provident Institution, and was a main board director of Abbey National.

Bovis Homes chairman Malcolm Harris said: “This appointment further strengthens the board's capabilities and completes the board structure announced at the end of 2007."
