5000 New Homes In Kent

Plans for 5000 homes on Kent’s waterfront will be unveiled today as the regeneration body behind it The Kent Thameside Regeneration Partnership is launches the strategy at the first day of the Thames Gateway Forum.

More than £30million is expected to be invested in areas including Gravesend Town Centre, Dartford Marsh and the Northfleet Embankment. The money will fund mixed-use development plus infrastructure upgrades and green spaces.

The Partnership hopes to build around 5000 homes and create around 7000 jobs in the area.
