Three contractors win £275 million East Midlands framework

Kier, Wates and Willmott Dixon have been selected for a £275million framework to build and refurbish medium-sized projects across the East Midlands.

The three UK contractors will form the East Midlands Property Alliance intermediate projects partnering framework, in a four-year deal to work on projects worth between £2million and £7.5million.

Sixteen authorities across the East Midlands have now committed to working together through EMPA with further authorities also in the process of joining. It is hoped that all 46 authorities will use some, if not all, of the services being promoted by EMPA over time.

This framework contract is the first service to commence in what will be a comprehensive range of regional developments to help drive the efficiency agenda.
