Miller Homes looking forward to 2010 with confidence

The Miller Group, the UK’s largest privately-owned housebuilding, property development and construction company, has revealed that it has already secured £105 million of forward home sales for this year, which is a 104% increase from the same point in 2009.

In a trading update ahead of its its final 2009 results the company said it carried out seven housing developments last year and plans to start construction on another ten in 2010 and also expects to achieve planning for around 14,000 plots over the next five years.

The Executive Board assertained that: "With over 30% of housing sales for 2010 already secured, a positive yielding property portfolio, a quality construction order book and experienced teams, we look to the future with confidence."
