NG Bailey Identifies "You Tube" Jokers

A number of weeks ago you may remember that we showed a You Tube video of workers basically setting fire to each other on a Construction Site, well yesterday NG Bailey has announced that it has identified all the individuals involved .

They link a number of the workers to a subcontracting company working for NG Bailey at the time but refuse to name the firm involved. Investigations are said to be “ongoing” but one person has already been suspended and several others are being interviewed. NG Bailey and the subcontractor said they were working with union officials from Amicus to ensure the disciplinary process is handled fairly.

NG Bailey believe the footage had been filmed on two sites over the summer of 2005. Talking in the Contract Journal ,Mark Andrews, chief executive of NG Bailey, said: “These people have been described by some as harmless pranksters, but we regard such behaviour as totally unacceptable…….This behaviour by a small minority is a problem not just for the construction industry but for society as a whole, but I hope that the industry-wide support we have received will be the first step towards eradicating it from construction sites across the UK.”

For those of you who missed it click here to see it again.
