Carillion Wins £42m Facilities Contract
A news release from Carillion Facilities Management yesterday announced that the company had secured a new five-year contract with a leading global insurance provider, worth around £8.5 million per annum.
The contract will see Carillion delivering facilities management services to the company at over 40 locations including London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow. The new contract will include a broad range of hard and soft FM services, but the key focus will be on delivering innovative new solutions in support of the client’s workplace strategy.
Carillion has had a successful working relationship for the past seven years with this client. In 2007 the company set out their vision for creating a new approach to facilities management within their business and approached the market to identify the best fit partner for the delivery of innovative and creative solutions to meet their requirements. After a rigorous assessment process they confirmed that Carillion continues to be the right choice to support their business strategy into the future.
Commenting on the new contract, John Platt, managing director of Carillion Facilities Management, said: “We are delighted that this key client has decided to award the new contract to us. It is fantastic news and maintains our position as the UK’s leading provider of facilities management services to the financial and insurance services sector.”
