Martha Lane Fox and her old business partner Brent Hoberman from Lastminute.com have got together to launch a new website focused on interior design. The website, called mydeco.com gives the consumer the chance to upload a floorplan and start playing around with the finishes to create an impression of a disaster that can easily be averted.

The site is a vehicle for the likes of Ikea, Asda and Conran to feature their products and ideas, allowing you to add a particular sofa or sideboard for size.

Whilst the site is not the first of its kind it is possibly the most comprehensive and could become a valuable tool for not only the cautious DIY enthusiast but also the interior designer seeking professional help!
