Portsmouth FC's New Ground Mark IV

Portsmouth announced their plans to build a new stadium.... sounds familiar. Well we have been here a few times before.

The latest scheme is on the outskirts of the city, close to the M27. The stadium will cater for 36,000 spectators and will incorporate a 10,000 seater indoor exhibition centre. The scheme will also include improved Naval training facilities and the redevelopment of Fratton Park.

The design is by architects Herzog & de Meuron, and as you would expect looks nothing like any other stadium.
