Olympic Cut Backs

Olympics minister Tessa Jowell has warned that no extra money will be spent on Olympic Park and other preparations for 2012 beyond the £9.3bn already allocated.

Speaking to the BBC, she said that any overspending on projects for the London Olympics would be balanced by scaling back in other areas.

Rumours are rife that these cutbacks will affect other aspects of the 2012 games. Will the Chuckle Brothers be responsible for the opeining ceremony?

Will all the medals from Beijing be smelted down to produce much smaller medals for all winners next year?

Will 2012 bring in a new event of brick laying and plastering?
